MERCEDES – BENZ ZETROS 2733, 6X6 – EVERY CAMPER'S DREAM

    Mercedes – Benz has once again demonstrated that the combination of luxury and practicality in the automotive industry is certainly possible. This time it's not about S-class limo, but about something much bigger. Motor home, which bears the Mercedes - Benz Zetros 2733 A 6x6, represents a combination of high performance off-road vehicle and deluxe living space. With all-wheel drive and outstanding off-road capabilities, combined with high payload, Zetros is the vehicle that will cope with the most demanding terrains in nature. This model is primarily intended for hunters and expeditions in nature.

       

        The vehicle has three axles and all-wheel drive, while the maximum total weight is 25 tons. Mercedes OM 926 LA 7.2 liter 6 cylinder engine is credited for the power of 240 kW (326 hp), which already at 1200 rpm has a torque of 1300 Nm. Power is transmitted to the wheels by the standard hydraulic - pneumatic version ounake G131 - 9 transmission, or the automatic transmission version that comes as an option.

        Model Zetros 2733 A 6x6 has many luxury elements and equipment. The spacious cabin is equipped with a separate area for sleeping, air conditioning, audio system with CD player, Bluetooth hands-free system, 7" touchscreen, which is connected to the camera for photographing from cabin and much more.

     Large spotlights to illuminate the surroundings were placed on top of the cabin, while carriers for the spare tire are projected at the rear. Long adventures in nature will ensure fuel tanks with capacity of 200 and 300 liters. The vehicle also has excellent insulation making it suitable for operation in harsh climatic conditions. The interior of the vehicle is divided so that the bedroom is located in the rear, while the comfortable leather seats are in the front of the vehicle and have been designed to accommodate 4 - 6 persons. There is also a luxury bathroom with marble floor and underfloor heating. The vehicle also has a well equipped kitchen and two mobile cookers - gas grills for outdoor use.

       For a complete luxury there are state of the art devices such as 46-inch LCD TV, satellite receiver, DVD player, MP3 player, WiFi device, etc. The vehicle has also a special room for hunting weapon storage.

           
       In order to provide an independent power supply, this model is equipped with diesel engine and four batteries of 220 Ah. All electrical equipment is connected to a voltage of 230 V, which is delivered via the automatic 24-230 V transformer.

     The internal temperature is regulated by the air conditioning for each room separately. That people in the Mercedes were thinking of everything states the fact that this vehicle has built-in special tank for drinking water with volume of 250 liters, and waste disposal tank of 100 liters. It also has built-in boiler of volume of 20 liters which delivers hot water, and if the weather permits it is possible to use the built-in external shower for bathing.

      In the end it should be indicated that the Mercedes - Benz Zetros 2733 A 6x6 is intended mainly to a clientele of high purchasing power and that its price is around 800,000 euros.
